Synopsis

 

With the philosophy that an enterprise should care about society and give back to the community, Cathay General Hospital was built by Cathay Life Insurance Co. inaugurated in 1977.

Cathay General Hospital is a medical center conveniently located in the center of Taipei, serving the community and people of northern Taiwan with quality healthcare over 30 years. Relying on our strong reputation among the community and the nation, CGH has expended into a Healthcare Network which includes Hsinchu, Sijhih Branch and Neihu Clinic.

Cathay General Hospital awarded the title of “Medical Center” by the Taiwan Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation. This is the highest level of accreditation, and an honor only 3 percent of this nation’s hospitals earn.

As prevention is better than cure, Health Management Department was established, consisting of Physical Examination Center, Medical Imaging Health Center, etc. Equipped with cutting-edge technology such as PET/CT, 64 slides CT and 1.5T-MRI, Health Center provides the most correct and accurate health screening on the top three causes of death---cancer, heart blood vessel and brain blood vessel.

V. Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs)

  • Enhanced Quality of Life in Heart Failure Patient Following Integrated Care Through the Multi-Disciplinary System-Heart Failure (MDS-HF) approach with a case manager as the primary point of contact, there can be a significant enhancement in the quality of life for patients following discharge (p<0.0001).
