Urology Da Vinci Robotic Surgery

Cathay General Hospital established a "Cardiovascular Center" for the integration of cardiology and surgical teams to provide high quality and professional medical services for patients with cardiovascular diseases. The Cardiovascular Center provides general cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and cardiovascular surgery. Therefore, cardiology and surgical teams can share resources such as hybrid operating rooms, examination rooms, intensive care units, etc., and to facilitate the simultaneous implementation of internal and surgical treatments for patients, and to provide patients with comprehensive and featured medical services.

The introduction of the new Hybrid OR, that the integration of the Artis Zeego 3D imaging and intra-operative navigation systems, enables patients to perform imaging, minimally invasive or traditional video-guided therapy in the same operating room, and immediate postoperative assessment. The entire process reduces the risk of multiple shifts between imaging examination room and operating room and increases the success rate of the operation.
